BIG RIGS SERIES PREPARES FOR 20th ANNIVERSARY

USA EastThe Big Rigs Pulling Series crowned its first-ever champion in September of 1991 when Gary Reis of Hastings, Minnesota grabbed the laurels in the first competition year for the series.  Now twenty years later the Big Rigs Series under USA-EAST sanctioning is getting ready for yet another championship season.  Many of the driver’s names and their trucks are different from those that actually ran in 1991, but the competition is still very strong and another super battle is expected in 2011.  Many fans are not aware of the fact that in the last nine years (2002-2010) no single truck and no single driver has won the Big Rigs crown more than once.  Will the tenth year of this cycle produce a duplicate champion or will another ‘new’ top Big Rig emerge?? KENDRA RODGERS TAKES 2010 BIG RIGS CROWN

The 2010 championship with the Big Rigs Pulling Series belongs to young Kendra Rodgers of Philo, Ohio. Kendra, a student at Muskingum College in Zanesville, pushed her "Unleashed" Mack to a hard-fought victory in the season long challenge with the Big Rigs.

Kendra started the season with two back-to-back wins at Mercer Raceway Park and then at the Jefferson County Fair, both in Pennsylvania in order to win the crown. Although her inline six cylinder Mack never got to the winner's circle again in 2010, she managed to secure the championship with good consistent pulling through the course of the season.

All of the 2010 champions will be honored at the USA-EAST awards banquet to be held on Saturday, October 16th in Jamestown, Pennsylvania.

Congratulations to Kendra Rodgers, the 2010 Big Rigs Series champion!
