Richard Scott and Joe Giulitto work each day separated by only 100 yards across a gravel parking lot outside of Ravenna, Ohio.  Scott is the head mechanic for Sanders’ Trucking while Guilitto operates his own trucking company.  They work closely on all kinds of trucking issues in the everyday life and they compare notes on the pulling trucks that they run in the Big Rigs Pulling Series.  One of them will be the USA-EAST Big Rigs Series champion for 2011!!  Scott already has a Big Rigs crown with his “Silver Bullet I” and Giulitto is hungry for his first-ever championship with his “Sneeky Pete”.

And that is the way that it is as the 2011 season comes to a suspense filled end at the Bloomsburg Fair in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 24th at 7:00pm.  Will it be Richard or Joe – thousands await the outcome…..

The Labor Day week-end, with its two Big Rigs pulls, looked to be the perfect chance for one or the other of the adversaries to jump ahead in the Cen.Pe.Co sponsored point race.  They were tied going into this all-important test at the Canfield Fair on Saturday night.  Richard Scott from Palmyra, Ohio took second on that night to move out ahead of Joe Guilitto by two points with his V-8 Mack powered “Silver Bullet I”.  But then on Sunday evening at The Great Geauga County Fair in Burton, Ohio, Giulitto took the win with his CAT-powered Peterbilt to regain his two points over the second place Scott.

So now if is TIED!!  One event to go.  September 24.  Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

Stay tuned……….
