| SCAVENGER was built by Guy Flock of New Stanton, PA who is also the driver of this Big Rig. The truck is owned by J & N Leasing and is a part of the Flock and Sons pulling team. Guy's father, J.R. Flock, operates a similar truck named "Wild Fire". Harbaugh Diesel of Madison, Pennsylvania is one of the major sponsors of the Scavenger.
In 2005, SCAVENGER finished sixth in the Big Rigs Pulling Series point chase after two third place finishes at Marysville, Ohio and at Butler, Pennsylvania. In late August the V-12 Detroit engine failed while in Ohio and the truck never did return to track.
SCAVENGER took a huge win in 2004 at the Mason-Dixon Drag Strip in Hagerstown, Maryland. It was also the winner at the Dayton Fair in Dayton, Pennsylvania in 2002 and finished third in the ATPA Grand American points race that year. The truck finished second in 2004 at the Crawford County Fair in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
Guy Flock is an over-the-road semi truck driver working in southwestern Pennsylvania. He keeps very good company at the pulling events and is often seen with his daughter in and around the pit area.
SCAVENGER was the winner in 1999 of the Florida Gator Nationals and has been a very competitive truck on the national big rig circuit. It is a cab-over Kenworth with a V-12 Detroit diesel under the hood. This truck has three turbo chargers and the built-in supercharger that is standard with all V-12 Detroits.
